? What you will learn
This course provides an in-depth understanding of the principles, mechanisms, and clinical applications of transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) in neurorehabilitation, with a specific focus on post-stroke motor and speech recovery. Participants will explore how tDCS enhances cortical excitability, facilitates synaptic plasticity, and promotes functional reorganization in the injured brain. The course will highlight the latest evidence on its efficacy, safety, and optimization strategies for maximizing rehabilitation outcomes. The course will also address potential side effects, contraindications, and ethical considerations in clinical and research settings, and equips participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to harness the potential of tDCS in neurorehabilitation.
