Kota Samarahan, 23 June 2018: Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT), yesterday.
The MoU signing between Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) and MBOT is to consolidate the new collaboration between the two parties in promotion, professional development program, technology expert and industrial relations.
Representing UNIMAS, was the Vice Chancellor YBhg Professor Datuk Dr Mohamad Kadim Suaidi while MBOT was represented by President of MBOT, Datuk Ts. Ir. Dr Siti Hamisah Tapsir. The signing of the MoU was witnessed by Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research and Innovation), Professor Dr Wan Hashim Wan Ibrahim and MBOT Registrar, Dr Md Fauzi Md Ismail.
With this collaboration, UNIMAS will assist MBOT in promotional activities by providing information to potential members, serving as a hub to provide exposure to potential members who are interested in being registered with a professional body, acting as an advisor to MBOT and also helping to develop and propose professional development programs in technology fields recognised by MBOT
