  What you will learn</p><p>Using the concepts drawn from Sun Tzu’s art of w
 ar as the overarching framework, this comprehensive two-day workshop will e
 quip participants with essential strategies and tools to enhance patient sa
 fety, team communication, and healthcare workplace well-being.</p><p>Partic
 ipants will learn to:</p><p>Ø Understand the importance of patient safety, 
 fostering a culture of transparency, the detrimental effect of a blame cult
 ure, and learning from errors.</p><p>Ø Understand the concept of “normal ac
 cident theory” and Swiss cheese model of errors occurrence in a complex org
 anization</p><p>Ø Implement the Conscious actions reduce errors (C.A.R.E) a
 pproach in mitigating medical errors that can compromise patient safety</p>
 <p>Ø Apply patient safety tools such as</p><p>o SBAR and I PASS The BATON f
 or handoff communication.</p><p>o STEP tool for situational awareness</p><p
 >o DESC script to resolve conflicts</p><p>Ø Implement "Shisa Kanko" or "poi
 nting and calling" to enhance awareness of hazards in a clinical environmen
 t</p><p>Ø Identify early signs of potential workplace violence using the ST
 AMP tool to maintain a safe work environment.</p><p>Ø Utilize Failure Modes
  and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to systematically identify, analyze, and mitig
 ate risks in healthcare processes before adverse events occur.</p><p>Ø Cond
 uct Root Cause Analysis using approaches like Ishikawa's fishbone diagram a
 nd the 5 Whys, to uncover underlying causes of patient safety incidents.</p
 ><p>Ø Identify groups of cognitive biases relevant in clinical practices th
 rough metacognitive strategies such as using the TWED checklist in order to
  improve clinical judgment and patient outcomes.</p><p>Ø Apply Tallman Lett
 ering (TML) to visually differentiate Look-Alike, Sound-Alike (LASA) medica
 tions, in order to reduce the risk of medication errors.</p><p>Ø Recognize 
 and implement strategies for mitigate burnout and enhancing staff resilienc
